New boiler installations across the New Forest

Gas Safe registered boiler installations across the New Forest. Natural gas, LPG and oil, sized and specified around your home.

A new boiler, done properly

Choosing the right boiler starts with a proper home survey. We look at your property's heating system, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, your water pressure and flow rates, and how you actually use hot water. That, combined with your preferences and the space available, lets us recommend the right system rather than the easiest one to sell.

Every installation is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer and notified for you, so your paperwork is in order from day one. We install natural gas, LPG and oil boilers, we leave the job clean, and we walk you through the controls before we go.

Boilers & Gas Questions

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Sway near Lymington and cover the New Forest and surrounding areas, including Lymington, New Milton, Brockenhurst, Milford on Sea, Christchurch, Highcliffe, Ringwood, Lyndhurst and Beaulieu. If you're not sure whether you're in our area, give us a call on 07376 052784 and we'll let you know.

Are you Gas Safe registered?

Yes. All of our gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer and notified where required. We're also a Which? Trusted Trader, so you can book us with confidence.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. We offer free, no-obligation estimates. Get in touch with a few details about the job and we'll arrange to come and take a look, then follow up with a clear written quote.

Do you do emergency call-outs?

Yes, we offer 24-hour emergency call-outs across the New Forest. If you've got a leak, a boiler breakdown or a heating emergency, call us on 07376 052784 and we'll help as quickly as we can.

Do you still carry out small jobs?

Absolutely. We carry out jobs of all sizes, from the smallest leak or a tap upgrade through to full installations. No matter how small you think a job may be, feel free to get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

How do I know what type of boiler is right for my home?

We come out to your home to carry out a site survey, looking at the size of your heating system, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and your water pressure and flow rates using a weir cup and pressure gauge. All of that, combined with your preferences and the space available, helps us provide expert, personalised advice on the best system for your home.

Do you install natural gas, LPG and oil?

Yes, we install and work on natural gas, LPG and oil systems. Whatever your property runs on, we can advise on the right boiler and carry out the installation safely and correctly.

What's included in a boiler service?

Our boiler service includes a central heating system water test (checking pH, corrosion and inhibitor levels), topping up inhibitor where needed, cleaning the condensate trap and system filter, and running the boiler's combustion and safety checks. If corrosion levels are high we'll advise a powerflush to protect your boiler and extend its lifespan.

Do you cover boiler breakdowns?

Yes. We gather as much information as possible before attending so our engineer arrives prepared. On site we carry out tests to fault-find and diagnose the issue, discuss your options, and provide a quotation for any repair. If parts are needed, we order them as quickly as possible.

Can you install or move a gas fire, hob or cooker?

Yes. We install natural gas and LPG fires in line with current regulations and notify Gas Safe where required, and we can change, install or move your gas hob or cooker provided there's sufficient clearance and the install meets the manufacturer's instructions. We can also convert appliances between natural gas and LPG.

I don't like standard white radiators. What else could I have?

We offer lots of alternatives, from wet or electric underfloor heating and skirting-board heating to designer radiators. We're proud to be accredited installers of Thermaskirt, a skirting-board heating system that's efficient at the lower flow temperatures modern systems use.

Do I need a powerflush?

It depends on the condition of your system. Common signs include radiators with cold spots, frequent air in the system, dirty system water, poor circulation, or a boiler that hasn't been serviced regularly. If you're unsure, we can carry out a heating system water test and assess the system before advising.

Can I get the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant?

We work in partnership with The Renewable Centre, which means we can offer access to the government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant if you meet the eligibility criteria. The grant currently provides £7,500 towards an air source heat pump installation, and there's currently 0% VAT on renewable energy installations until March 2027.

Who designs the heat pump system?

The Renewable Centre fully designs and specifies your system and completes all of the necessary grant paperwork on your behalf, while we carry out the installation. It's a straightforward route into lower-carbon heating without the admin.

Can you project manage a full bathroom or kitchen renovation?

Yes. Hayley provides all of our project management, making sure jobs run smoothly and that all trades are pre-booked and fully briefed. We offer a complete service with clear communication and organisation, making the renovation process as stress-free as possible from first enquiry to completion.

Do you supply all the materials, or do we buy them ourselves?

We're happy to work either way. We can supply and manage all materials as part of the project, or work with items you've chosen and bought yourself. We'll talk through the best approach for your renovation when we quote.

Do you carry out repairs on existing installations?

Yes. No matter how old or new an installation may be, we're always happy to carry out repair work, whether it's a leak, a faulty fitting or an installation that needs attention. Get in touch and we'll discuss it with you.

How do I get a quote?

Call or WhatsApp us on 07376 052784, or email l.h.plumbingandheating@outlook.com with a few details about the job. We'll arrange a visit where needed and follow up with a clear, no-obligation written quote.
